If the previous record included 1/3 of an inning, I don't see why the 2/3 of the 7th inning tonight would not bring it to 48 innings.

The 1/3 came at the end of an inning. The 2/3s came at the beginning of an inning during which the other guys scored. Therefore, not a scoreless inning.
At least that's how Charlie n Dave explained it after checking with Elias Bureau.

I thought it was a mistake by Matt to put Scherzer back in for the 8th. Looked like he was completely done in the 7th. I guess up 4 he had the luxury to trot him back out there.

Good to see us producing runs even with so many backups in the game. This team could be scary good if we could ever just get healthy...

We definitely need Harper, Rendon, Span, and Escobar back. (Wow - that's a hell of a list.) Zimm and Werth, I'm not sure they'd contribute more offense than Taylor, Moore and Robinson. Maybe I'm wrong.

I thought it was a mistake by Matt to put Scherzer back in for the 8th. Looked like he was completely done in the 7th. I guess up 4 he had the luxury to trot him back out there.
