Just got home. Zimmermann had one of the luckiest pitching performances I've ever seen. Liners and flies all over the yard. The Nats seemed to have everything fortuitous going for them tonight. It's about time.

The 9-run first inning against Pittsburgh was the luckiest inning i've seen a ballclub have in a long time.

Yes! Two hours later, and the Nats have still won a 2 - 1 extra-inning game on a Harper double, Ramos IBB, Clint Robinson gutsy walk, and a solid sac fly by King Ian Desmond.

Nice touch that Desmond mentioned Randy Knorr in the post-game.
