Indoor baseball is such an affront to the senses it should be banned. Killed with fire. Something.

sitting in my office in NW waiting to head over to the park.  Any announcement on a start time yet?  The rain looks to have stopped, although I am still seeing occasional lightening in the distance.

Nope, they'll (Carpenter) be back in 1/2 hour probably.    Said it's looking "better" weather wise.     Carp did mention that the grounds crew will take some time to get the field ready.

Baseball, football, and hockey should all be played outside

Ok good, I'm totally cool with a late start time but it sucks I'm sure for the people hanging out at there.

Zuckerman just tweeted that Williams and Fredi are looking at the field now. Lots of standing water.

Williams is going to look at Bryce's hamstring and say let's play two tomorrow.

No, it's really not. You can't tell the difference. They play on real grass. It's simply 70 degrees inside the dome, instead of frying in 95 degree heat.

I hate air conditioning especially at an event that should be played outdoors, I would definitively be able to tell the difference.
