They're not moving him for performance. It's to conserve innings.
He's at 149 now. Previous high was 120. They could easily shut him down now and he'd be fine going in to next season as the number 4/5 starter with an innings cap of 180.

This is about performance and how badly they need someone out of the pen. His change up sucks and lefties are raking against him the last three starts. This should have happened three weeks ago.

Thank you Padres for tossing in a solid middle rotation starter when we fleeced you in the Turner deal

His change is showing improvement. Glad to see a pitching coach who can help him.

Ross doesn't use rosin.  He's going to have a tough time pitching in Washington in July and August.
How is he doing now sir? What's that he shouldn't be in the rotation? Yeah I thought so.

I was unaware that July and August had been replaced by April

Maddux undoubtedly has him in resin bag training to get ready for summer.

This sums you up with the nats and caps from what I read on this forum
http://www.city-data.com/forum/washington-dc/1861901-do-nats-have-most-fair-weather.html

 :lmao:

And if you had any history on this board, you would know that I have explained, in depth, how Washington DC is the ultimate fair weather town.

I'm a joe Ross believer, I hope he has a great season, and his first 2 starts have been great. Will be fun to see how he deals with more talented lineups

Miami's lineup is probably one of the more talented ones in the NL I would argue.

Just how I see it. People like him and more on here are the reason that chicago, detroit, philly, and boston fans laugh at dc for being put in the same category as them (in terms of being loyal fans). When the nats lose certain people stop posting, but when they lose they get bored want mike rizzo fired or saying matt williams was a bad hire. He wasn't a bad hire when you were kissing his is rear when he won manager of the year were you.

Anyway, it's exciting see joe ross do well.

Pretty sure most here weren't Williams fans and didn't think he deserved the award.
