If we win today, you know you guys are gonna have to keep the dumpster fire.

If the Nats win today you'll have to do tomorrow's thread until they drop one.

Sticking with the sinking ship. It's appropriate, too.

Getting Fister and Strassburg back plus adding a quality reliever could be a huge boost.

Dude--I was supposed to be the stopper today.

If we lose, this one is on you.

Putting Espinosa at first is one of the most retarded things I've ever seen. I mean, this is watering your young tomato plant with a firehose stupid. You're wasting a good fielder by putting him at first and wasting the power Moore/Robinson have, one of which hit a freaking home run last night. As opposed to Desmond, you know, who has to shake off the margaritas from his sombrero last night.

Jesus freaking Christ, I would say Matt Williams and Rizzo piloted that Malaysian plane but that begs the question of how they continue to freak things up for the rest of us.

This is correct and also  .  It's not that Desmond isn't playing like his old self, or that he's not playing like a starting-caliber shortstop.  It's that he's playing like a starting-caliber player.  In AA.  Right now, Espinosa is the best SS on the team (!) and it's not even close.  He should be playing shortstop.  Whichever 1B candidate is most likely to hit on a given night should play 1B.  Desmond should be on the bench.  Last time he sat, he got a pinch hit.  That was an actual positive contribution, which is quite the rarity from him these days.

:lmao: She's shacking up with SF. But she should be there tomorrow. Probably only has a half season plan.

E-in being E-in.  Is that just 5 K's in a row, or did he end the game on Wednesday with K's?

Whatever "issues" Desmond is having, he needs to be sent to Syracuse and they can't even do that because he has 5+ years service time.
