When a player hits his first MLB homer it's a tradition to give him the silent treatment and ignore him.

1st   Harper safe at first on throwing error by shortstop Segura, Span scored.
1st   Braun tripled to left center, Parra scored.
2nd   Clint Robinson homered to right, upper deck - 1st home run of his MLB career!

Just treat it like swimming. You get farther and cover a lot more space if your strokes are slower and longer. :lol:
