Since Zim is a much better fielder, positioning would have been different

They had the infield in so he had no real shot to get at it and neither would Zimmerman, not where he was positioned.

He was even with the bag and the ball was scalded.

And with the lefty vs lefty they had him playing a bit off the bag.

stop it, FP. When will the real turds like Aaron Barrett be held accountable? This has gotten way past the point of being funny. This freaking relievers have to go NOW.

That makes no freaking sense. If anything, since Zimmerman is a better fielder he would've been farther away from the bag than Moore was. :smh:

this team is so B.....A.....A......A.....D....a bullpen that serves up BP....a collection of Richard-heads who cannot hit.... a manager who cannot manage, a general manager who refuses to rid the team of also-rans and defensive nightmares.....clowns....save for 2 or 3 players, the rest are stealing money by collecting their bloated salaries every two weeks....

For the people wondering why Scherzer was left in so long last night, I submit to you what happened immediately after he was removed and what happened after Gonzalez was removed.

with teh bullpen being as bad as it is and no in-house solutions, unless you want to go extreme with Lopez or Giolito or Strasburg, we're going to have to make a decision here.  Do we want to go for it all this year and part with valauble prospects to get the BP straight, or do we bite the bullet and hold on to teh prospects and just ride it out?

IMO, I'd put Giolito, Turner, Ross, and Lopez on the no trade list, and make anyone else available.  pick up 2 veteran relievers with proven track records.

FP has it right - the Nats need a reliable setup reliever

stop it, FP. When will the real turds like Aaron Barrett be held accountable? This has gotten way past the point of being funny. This freaking relievers have to go NOW.

It isn't bad luck, FP. If you had a real bullpen they would be out of the inning 5 minutes ago with a lead still intact.

I am surprised the Nats haven't traded for David Carpenter since they are in NY and Rizzo and Cashman work together well.

man, I can't wait to see our stellar offensive pound out the hits and score 5 or 6 runs.....I mean....how can they fail???? They're just so darn good...or at least, that what FP, Carpenter and Matt Williams keep trying to sell us....
more than likely we'll futile whiffing at first pitch slop....
