Why?  The postseason is crazy, the worst team if they get hot has just as good a chance as the best team.  We've gone into the postseason twice as division winners and considered a powerhouse and haven't gotten out of the first round, I'd like to see what a not so perfect team could do and I'd rather be there then not be there.

Once as the wins leader in all of baseball, and once as the win leader in the NL. And I like your optimism, but this not so perfect team would crap their pants in the playoffs.

WHIP and FIP != pitching talent, Canada. Also "injured" isn't an excuse for anyone. If you can't play well, get off the freaking field. That's for both players and managers.
