Inexcusable to be on the verge of getting swept by this club.

You know what the problem is? This team is the same as last year and the same as 2013. They are simply too streaky. When they're bad/impatient/not lucky, they are amongst the worst in baseball. They don't manufacture runs.

Nothing has changed from last year. This team's post season success will be entirely dependent on whether or not Nationals hitters can be hot and the pen can not blow too many games.
Just the same as every other team in baseball.

Price can thank the Nats for keeping him employed for the time being.

Rizzo instructed the Nats to lose the series so Riggleman won't get the job.

But yeah, my Sunshine pumping aside, it seems every time we play in Cincy bad things happen. Hopefully Nats can get it together and salvage one today, but this series has been a whole bunch of suck.

I will pop in to say this.  This is when how terrible a manager Matt Williams rears its head.  There are times when a team needs more managing/coaching.  Needs more discipline.  This is one of those times.

Williams is either incapable of or unwilling to manage.

No. The Giants hit like crap in the divisional series. The Royals got by on dirty runs and a lockdown bullpen. So, no, they didn't have to rely on scoring 8 runs every freaking game to win.

GABP is like a House of Horrors for the Nats. Same with Busch Stadium.

Let's see if we can make this bum throw more than five pitches this inning.

I say two.  The inning will be over in two pitches.

I'll go on a limb and say between 3 and 8 pitches.

I know and I can't believe we actually have a winning record in Cincy. Feels like it should be much worse.

I wouldn't put it past them to do that somehow.
