47 innings over 6 starts is less than 8 innings a start- that's not unreasonable to ask

Scherzer averaged around 6.7 innings per start in his Cy Young season. Asking him to pitch an extra 32 innings over the course of a year is insane for a pitcher that's never been worked that much.
