Nope, pitcher's xFIP fell far less than his FIP did because xFIP is calculated by league average HR/FB % (about 10.5%) vs HR

I am convinced that the umpiring is biased against the Nats...opposing pitchers just have to avoid bouncing a ball in the dirt to have a solid chance of having a strike called...it's been pretty pathetic over the last several games...

Total BS. bad pitch that had no break, catcher caught it awkwardly. No reason to call that a strike. Rewarding players for bad pitching, great idea.
