The Mormons tend to get all pent up.  And then explode.

I get home just in time to see Harper get ejected.

More things change, the more they stay the same.

I did get to hear Moore's game tying homer call on the radio though, that was cool.

so...in a tie-game, you go INSTANT ape-sh*t, to get yourself tossed out???

Cabrera did it too, in the 18-inning marathon last October.

Saw that last replay...he didn't make contact.  Was worried about a suspension...

I really think home plate umps should not be allowed to call check swings. Just appeal each time. If they're supposed to concentrate on the strike zone, there's no way they can accurately call check swings.

Yeah I love the passion but you can't get yourself tossed. You're the team's best player and you're in a tie game. Gotta maintain your composure.

Agree. He's maturing better than I could have imagined though. I remember the stupid crap I did in my early twenties, would love to go back in time and slap myself in the face.

The .157 hitter is going to give them the lead.

Roark's thrown a ton of pitches for only four outs.

Funny how our pitching has been the weak link these latter two games. Normally 5-6 runs is more than enough for this team.

Would really suck to lose the series after the ass whooping we delivered in the first game, but Stras and Gio have both been terrible.

Thanks! Pic was taken on Fister's USO Tour to Afghanistan in December. My Aunt, who is a season ticket holder, showed me a pic of the Nats Spring Training Guide and it looks like our photo made it into there. I'm stationed out in Cali, so showed him a pic on my phone from the A's series last May, which happened to be my daughters first MLB game, and he took his jersey off and signed it for me. Just this weekend my mom called and said the USO was looking for me to do an interview about this.

Thornton with some serious balls to keep throwing the fastball there. Very well done
