Werth just missed a beachball. He is doing us no favors batting third. Not good.

1st   Hill doubled to deep right center, Goldschmidt and Peralta scored.
3rd   Span doubled to deep left center, Espinosa scored.

  Washington Nationals 1
          Arizona Diamondbacks  2

No kidding. His average is headed south fast. Will be under .150 pretty soon at this rate.

I would pay good money to see Werth batting NINTH.

How long does his pass last for starting the season late? I know it takes a while to get heated up but man. We can't afford this crap.

Bat Harper 3rd, Ramos 4th, and Zim 5th.   Werth needs to be at 7 or 8 until he starts hitting

We need to see if Fairfax County will take him back...

Maybe he and Espinosa switched brains.

But regarding the question you asked earlier, that is an interesting scenario that could actually happen. My suspicion would be that MLB has people on call from the area (people with umpiring experience that they have in every MLB city) and someone is probably already on the way just in case.

ridiculous. Even best case scenario if he begins to turn it around at some point he is going to pitch around 3.50-4.00 ERA. For his talent that is criminal.

I am beginning to think he will never realize his full potential, not even with another team like SD.

Strassburg would make a better relief pitcher than Treinen.

They'd win if freaking Strasburg would stop pissing all over himself. The Nats should score around 5 runs tonight.

At-Bat says it was a 90 MPH slider, yes.

No.  It broke the wrong way.  It was a changeup.

it looked like it moved slightly counter-clockwise to me. not much lateral movement. didn't look like his change
