Taylor is not yet a major league hitter. He ought to be in AAA. Span should be re-signed: he settles the OF and he hits. Where is Span today?

What precisely is the gameplan against Wood?  Have we detected a discernible one?

Taylor dominates AAA pitching whenever he's there. If he can't get it together, he might be the dreaded AAAA.

With his crazy delivery, Wood should walk about five or six batters a game, if you just wait him out.

There are no big spots for Werth, Bob.  He stinks.

This team needs to find a replacement for Werth and make him baseball's most expensive bench player.

Uggla has been around for a long time.  He's gotta know you can't get picked off like that.

I guess Uggla believes he is some sort of speedster....what's the point of extending a lead while on 2nd base? Guess he found out.

Looked that way here, for just before the tag was made, Uggla's body was still moving while his hand had stopped

Uggla's thumb got to the bag first.

Hey, is that a lady umpire?!
I noticed the other night I think she is just the connection to NYC official. I don't think she's ever on the field, just the keeper of the ehadsets.

When you give up three hits to the opposing pitcher, that says something about your day.

This is obviously it.  There's no way even Matt Williams would send Zimmermann back out after this performance.
