Yankees pitching isn't very good. I suppose I'm not going to be convinced that this team is World Series ready until we win a series from the Giants, Cardinals, or Dodgers.
Avoiding Pineda and Tanaka really helps the Nats. Eovaldi has been pretty good as of late but is prone to getting hit. Warren is better as a reliever than a starter.
The NYY middle-relief is rough right now (no one pitching well) but the 8th and 9th innings are completely locked down, so if the Nats are down late they will be in trouble.
Facing the NYY lineup will be a really good test for Gio and AJ.
