I wouldn't say we exactly lit them up.  So freak it all?
Indeed, freak it all.

Mets getting crushed again. They cannot hit, period. And their 6 man rotation idea is dumb.

I'm glad other teams can beat up on Dillon Gee since he seems to dominate the Nats every outing.

Mets picked a poor time to go cold.

Pretty sure that he'd have a career ERA over 5 if it weren't for facing the Nationals.

Their lineup was suspect even before Wright went down.

He says he's coming back. But they need at least one bat at the deadline. I guess we'll find out how strapped for cash the Wilpons really are.

Collins keeps going to Familia for 5 out saves, this has got to blow up in his face at some point.

This season turned into 2013 so quickly I didn't even notice until it was too late.

Bob and FP noted last night that at this point last year, we were a game under .500.

Except last year weren't we the only team to finish .500? Meaning we could have won the division with a .500 record anyhow.

There was nothing you could do about it anyhow.

Mainly due to the Braves surge early in the season. This is the same team.

His career ERA against us is 3.60 in 105 IP.  Those numbers are decent but far from dominant.

The Mets lose again. The awfulness of the NL East keeps us in first place for another day.

The Nats can win the division by default, but they'll pull the usual bullcrap in the playoffs.

You can't take that for granted when we're half a game up and scuffling.

There is no way an NL East team wins a Wildcard spot this year either.  Something to remember.
