Desmonds AB was the key to killing that inning.  Awful approach.  Move Span over and it's 1-1 right now.

This pitching staff is not nearly as good as its been advertised.

We need to stop doing these 20 pitch innings. 10-13 is ideal damnit.

So the equivalent of last years "we'll never catch the barves" this year is "we'll never catch the mutts?"

Agree. But not sure as good as advertised was possible

I know about WAR but what stat is it for players who cause more losses than a replacement player? Because Desi's got to be in the lead for that right now.

they've won 11 in a row, they're not a fluke I don't think.

Desi second on the team among position players in WAR right now.

I'm not saying they're a fluke, they're not this good tho, and ppl will be complaining we can't catch them all year until around the all star break if not sooner, and that will be the sarcastic line?

Edit: yunel is going dangerously past man crush to just plain crush for me. Kinda in between those two right now.

that is a load of crap.

Desmond is the key reason this team is so garbage right now. His Errors have cost games.

I see it didn't take Scherzer and Robinson long too learn the Nats way and who their daddy is. :smh: Cardinals are so far in the Nats' heads they could probably be diagnosed as bipolar.
