Whiffs on three straight breaking balls.

Too bad there's nobody in the bleachers to piss on that bum.

Cubbies score on a double by the pitcher and a 2-strike bunt that became a throwing error

Maddon trying to sac bunt is terrible baseball.

Golden sombrero for Kris Bryant.

Kris Bryant's first minor league game was 0-5 with 5 Ks.

Wash your mouth out Theo Epstein!  Comparing Kris Bryant's debut to Strasmas!!!

...and then to mispronounce his name AND be dismissive about it!

only 5 strikeouts, nowhere near Strasburg's 14

Oops, is a golden sombrero 4? I thought that was platinum.
EDIT: Yup, my bad.

Ump just gave San Diego a three-run homer. First the ump called time-out after the Cubs pitcher started throwing a potential strike 3. Then the ump non-called another strike 3.

I feel bad for Schlitter there. Should have had a strikeout, next pitch is a Myers homer.

The time-out call was even worse than the missed strike 3.

Are they testing for HGH yet?  Because short of shooting himself full of that I can't see his body holding up for a full season.

Yesterday Rex Hudler instructed us that sunglasses save energy because you don't have to squint
I'll just say this, having worked jobs where I was outside a lot, sunglasses make a world of difference.

And Bryant starts the day with an error. A bad first 10 innings for the kid.

And Bryant finally makes it to first with a walk. Still swinging at every single pitch he sees, though.
