I just can't bring myself to pay $15-20 for a beer that will be warm by the time I finish it.

No worries, it’s only 7 oz

via @dcbeer - there will be a grab-and-go market in Section 110 with local canned DC beer options. They also say that Ben's will still be there.

They had all the promo items except for Harry Potter. They couldn't say no to the money but they don't want to trigger their fans.

If I am not mistaken PB69 when we met at the stadium in Cincy they had grab and go beer, sodas and snacks. 2018? We noted how Nats Park should get that. Only took five years.

Close, that was 2017. Having it serve yourself sounds good as long as the payment system is efficient. I have high hopes.

For those planning to go opening weekend who want to see cherry blossoms, the cherry blossoms are blooming along the path to the SW gate where the statues are. (The ones in the stadium appeared bloom-free.)

Has anyone been to Capital One recently. THey have a grab and go area and It's all automated. I thought it used NFC, but apparently it's a crapton of cameras. It worked seamlessly. Very cool. They need it at Nats park.

The turnstiles on the first base side were a disaster. Good thing there was almost no line 15 minutes before the game. The light would turn green and the turnstiles would not move. The new option to tap your phone on top of the machine just caused confusion because people thought they were doing it wrong.

Abrams had a better day.

I went in through the 1st Base Gate about 45 minutes prior to first pitch, and the holdup there was t-shirt distribution, which was a disorganized mess.

On a positive note, the new point-of-sale devices used by beer hawkers seemed to be quicker and easier to use. And the Swizzler burgers were phenomenal.

Is that a combination of Sizzler and Twizzler?

$18.14 for a beer and the taps behind 129 still don't work for the third straight year. The Lerners don't give a freak about their team so why should their staff?

Kosher stand reopens under a nee vendor. They have falafel sliders, unlike the falafel pita Max's had. Tbh, could use less of a slider bun and pickles, more harissa too. Ok. Also have kosher dogs and knishes. The latter I might try sometime. Potato. If it is as good as opacy, then that may be a go to.
