Nats announce masks optional as of 5/21 for fully vaccinated fans (without specifying if fans will have to provide proof of vaccination), full capacity as of 6/10

Are they handing out yellow stars for people that don't have to wear masks?

From what I heard, they check vaccine cards when you enter the park. If you are vaccinated, you get a sticker with Alex Chappell on it. If you aren't vaccinated you get a sticker with Grant Paulson on it.

(the above is a joke in case anyone takes it seriously)

That would be the only thing that could possibly want me to ensure that I was vaccinated. The deterrent, not the reward.

If you lie about being vaccinated you are given a Grant Paulsen tattoo.

Felt so much like a real game today. Good crowd, no masks for the most part. I love ordering through the ballpark app and picking up my order after getting a text that it was ready. Hope that continues.

Coming to tonight's game for my Nats Park baseball debut! Can anyone help me with parking or point me to where I can find tips in here? If we don't purchase anything ahead of time, what are our options?

The Nats offer several lots, and there are any number of parking apps that handle parking near Nats Park.  It may be different with lower attendance this month, but advance reservations are usually best...

We use spot hero for parking for games. We parked at 100 M Street this past Sunday for $25 plus a 75 cent service charge. If you haven't used the app before, they will give you $5 off on your first purchase.  There are lots of garages in the area, and given that it is a Tuesday night game it shouldn't be too hard to find parking, but I'd definitely recommend using Spot Hero to save the hassle of trying to find a garage.

Outstanding!  You brought some nice weather with you too.  In a normal year, by the end of May we are lying gasping on the ground with heat exhaustion as vultures circle overhead.

Yeah, we're pretty excited. My wife was a little worried about that, so she's pleasantly surprised that we'll have such a nice evening.

Enjoy!  Make sure you have set up the ballpark app before you get to the stadium, you'll need it if you want to get any food/drink.  I loved being able to order from my seat and then head to the stand after the text arrived that the food was ready.

FWIW, there's a discussion on Reddit about bag policy at the park, and a poster said they've been told that the Nats are going back to a 16x16 bag limit as of 6/10, though nothing has been publicly announced. No word on if clear bags will be required.

https://wtop.com/washington-nationals/2021/06/nationals-park-makes-changes-to-ballpark-protocols-as-capacity-restrictions-lift/

Biggest news is that they are changing bag requirements to 16x16x8 for non-medical/diaper bags.  No backpacks. There's more in the article, but basically except for entrance assignments and no autographs, everything returns to pre-covid policies.

...and when do they let fans into the Park for the 6:05pm second game of the double header?

If you are worried about a rainout this weekend, then based on the last rainout (1st game of the SF series), what they do is allow  you to go to the make up game without any further action, but if you do not want to go the makeup, they allowed you about a month to swap your tickets for any remaining game, subject to availability.  I am not sure there are blackout dates, but I suspect that if you wanted the 7/4 11 AM game vs. the Dodgers, you'd have to act fast.

All this is assuming they adopt the same policy.

Looks like tomorrow's concert announcement for Nats Park will be Elton John's farewell tour, presumably sometime next summer because the tour itinerary has a big gap then. WMATA posted an ad for the announcement on a bus shelter and it's made the rounds on Twitter.
