I'm shocked.

The Lerners always go green as option 1.

@JimmyDonofrio on Twitter pointed out that the solar panels will block the view of the field from the neighboring buildings.

I doubt it. What is Jim's alt energy  credentials?

He appears to be a Phillies fan who ordered his cap cheaply from one of those Chinese counterfeit merchandise sites. Deserves to have his view blocked, in my book.

He had a camera.    If the panels are inclined a bit, they will cut the view.     It's science JCA.     :)

The view from the Top of the Yards bar is about to be blinded by science.

This.    I was at that bar one time and it was the non-baseball hightlight of the season.

If they wanted to make the environment more green, they'd tear down the parking garage.     Smells like a bullcrap PR move to me.    :)

But maybe they are doing this for the same reason 90% of other people try solar panels - to save $$$ on electricity

Then the conversation comes full circle to PB69's comment about which "green" ownership is interested in.     Take me home Ambrose.    :)

Went to the stadium to pick up my stein last month.   I was shocked by the amount of recent construction.    I was taken by the cruise ship (left in your photo) lookin' thing.

From The Washington Post: This year’s bobbleheads will include Juan Soto (April 12), Trea Turner (May 15), Max Scherzer (June 21), Adam Eaton (July 2), Patrick Corbin (Aug. 17) and a player to be named later (Sept. 13).

Any bets Sept 13 will be Bryce Harper ?

Queen Half Street of the Seas is truly something.  It somehow seems appropriate that something like that is rising from the ashes of The Bullpen.

Too many pockets to check, or did someone trip over a backpack strap?

We use a curly-w string bag. Hope they don't stop us for that.

Me too when I need to carry a bobble head around the stadium and/or home.    When I enter the stadium, it's in my back pocket.    I still don't understand why folks need to carry luggage into the stadium.    Maybe the Lerners ought to charge for each piece.    :)

Drawing bags are fine 16x16x8 is the limit. I'm fine with the rule but there will be a big slow down at security as fans try to jam their bags until the sizing box.

I'm shocked that this was announced before single game sales got going (unlike the netting and smoking announcements). The new Revenue Chief slipped up.
