Thank God there’s this at least. Fans are not permitted to bring cats or other animals to Nationals Park in connection with this special event. An exception will be made for service animals and service animals in-training for the disabled.
With the gravel lot closed, is there a good spot to tailgate in any of the other parking areas? Will the gravel lot open again at some point?
The gravel lot is gone and never coming back. There is another lot further down in Buzzard Point that is good for tailgating, but nothing with a tailgating scene. That has been replaced by the various open air bars.
people tailgate in the Yards parking lot next to the 1B side of the park, but there's not a lot of room there.
That "service cat" loophole could be pretty big.
Cats have service humans, not the other way around.
Did the Phillies game on June 24th get moved to Sunday night game? This is really annoying, especially with the Metro. It actively punished the season ticket holders.
Yeah, this completely screws it up for me.
Trade in the game for another one.
The problem is I don’t really want more tickets since I’ve got a ticket to all the games. I know I can pick up another game and sell mine, but i would honestly rather just go to the Sunday afternoon game. It’s not a major complaint, just a minor annoyance.
Trade it for two more to a game you’re going to, and take some friends.
You’ve seen my behavior on this board. It should be clear I have no friends....

Great article. Thanks for posting. Has been a few years since I have been to a game so it's remarkable to see what has happened. Displacing the poor is a common problem to any urban development. You basically just price them out of the area. And the traffic!
