Not really wanting to go 2 hours early. I would but my gf isn’t going to want to be there any earlier than necessary.  What’s the sweet spot to arrive and safely get one?   No in/out privileges, I guess?  We’re stay at the Hampton inn across the street. It would be ideal if we could get it early and bring it to the room and get dinner.

Can't tell you a sweet spot...I get there 2 hours early for every game...and it likely depends upon how many bobbleheads are being made available and the anticipated crowd.  No, there is no readmission...

You should be fine an hour prior. 25,000 Bobbleheads.

Suspended for the rest of the season because a Braves fan claimed he threw ice and harassed his girl. Sounds like the fan was being an jerk.

you have got to be kidding me.  Anyone who knows this vendor would take his word over a Barves fan.  He's been in the business for decades.  He knows how to behave.  This reminds me of the time a bar owner I know refused to back his bartender (who had been one of his best for 20 years) over some visiting NYY fans who used abusive language  to her.

What complete bullcrap. This guy is a pro. Can't imagine he would do anything that stupid. Good employers back their good employees. I really want to know the details.

I hate to think the Nats would suspend him for the rest of the season based on the word of one (Barves or other) fan.    I suspect others saw it and spoke up.    If not, the stadium management is awful to treat a good employee like this.

Unfortunately these vendors are all independent contractors, so they don't have a lot of leverage in situations like this. I don't know anything more about the situation than has been written here, but shame on the Nats if they simply took the word of one person over a longtime vendor.

Howard is a great guy, been buying beer from him since the early 90s at Camden Yards.

See this story from a few years back.  https://www.washingtonpost.com/video/local/beer-man-dreams-of-beltway-world-series/2014/09/28/2240ef2c-470e-11e4-a4bf-794ab74e90f0_video.html

And this one from a few years earlier.  https://www.baltimoresun.com/news/bs-xpm-1996-04-03-1996094166-story.html

When Pat Gillick was inducted into the Hall of Fame Gillick invited this vendor to attend.  Been around the game a while.

Is there anything that can be done? I don't want to boycott the other vendors.

I think I talked to him earlier in the year. I was surprised to see him because I thought from an article he had given up the Nats gig. He said that OPACY attendances so light that it was still worthwhile to come to DC

Thanks to fan support he'll be back this weekend. Meanwhile the Braves fan's girl is still a ho.

I wish I was gonna be at the Park.    I'd look for him and buy a beer.
