How fast do ya go VaRK? Solo? I'm sure VIR is "slower" than Daytona. 
So, the VIR deal was cancelled by Skip Barber...still waiting for my refund.
Suffering from adrenaline withdrawl, I headed down to Daytona International Speedway to drive with the Richard Petty Driving Experience again yesterday.
http://www.drivepetty.com/My fastest lap of 8 on the 2.5 mile high-banked tri-oval was 58.96 seconds with an average speed of 152.66 MPH and a top speed on the back stretch of 162.66 MPH.
The best part of this is passing others cars at that speed...quite the rush...
That topped my personal best top speed of 150+ MPH, albeit that was on several 1.5 mile ovals. There's no lifting or braking at Daytona, or diving to the bottom in the turns. Just keep it in the middle of the track and go fast.
