Traded in my highly customized, 20 years owned, 2001 Harley Road King, and picked up this mildly customized, new-to-me, 2016 Harley Forty-Eight. The Forty-Eight has Vance & Hines shorty pipes and ECU mapping along with some functional and cosmetic upgrades.The Road King was bumped to 1,550cc's and 98 wheel horsepower, and it would get up and go, but this 1,200cc Sportster screams. Not a Hyabusa by any means, but plenty stout for my taste.I had a new '82 and a new '99 Sportster back in the day...really happy to be going back to my roots...at 68...lol...Guess I have to change my screen name to VA48...(Image removed from quote.)
