That's usually my cue to start watching something. I hate waiting for episodes to drop, so if it's a show I've heard is good but I'm not super excited for, I'll wait until its complete to binge it all. The worst are the 'one episode per week' thing that's coming back into style

That 90s show seems to be the better outcome of a nostalgia reboot. Not great, but at least watchable

Why would there be a "That 90's show"?  The 90s were just a few years ago...

Although broadcast in the US last year, we've just seen 'The US And The Holocaust' (Ken Burns) over here. If you haven't seen it, then it's time you did. It's not groundbreaking - 'American Experience' covered the issues raised in 'America And The Holocaust', but Burns' style gives things more expansive, and updated, examination.

The BBC has just published the findings of an independent report, it commissioned,  examining viewers perception of bias in the BBC's economics reporting. It found that viewers did not perceive bias in economics reports...because they couldn't understand the reports to begin with...    ;)

Given it's impact upon our lives, it is surprizing that economics is only an optional subject, in most UK schools - I don't know how it is in the US? The school I attended was unusual in offering it, but only three of us took it past 16.y.o...

Shrinking on AppleTV+ is one of the better shows I’ve seen in a while.

As it is a co-production with ARTE (France) and the BBC, we've had the unusual experience (no pun intended) of watching an 'American Experience' film before broadcast in the US. 'Casa Suzanna' has a rather niche subject matter - the experience of cross-dressers in the 1950's and 60's at a hotel - 'Casa Suzanna' - where they could freely be themselves. What actually emerges, however, is an intimate, and insightful, portrait of people and prejudice, even from those one would have thought...(for example, the straight cross-dressers disliked the gay cross-dressers...). I believe it is scheduled for broadcast, in the US, on June 27th - well worth a look.

They did get promoted at the end of S2 IIRC.

For anyone with Apple TV, shrinking and hello tomorrow are both great. Meanwhile, I just cancelled Netflix when I realized that no one in my family watched it anymore

I just cancelled Netflix. Recently signed up for Paramount+ to watch the AFC championship game. Have been catching up with Picard and also watched Maverick. Amazon prime has a few interesting movies also if you dig through the titles. Can’t pay for every streaming service.

I might sign up for Sling Tv orange for a couple months sonIncan watch NBA and NHL playoffs.

HBO Max and AppleTV+ are the only movie/show based streaming services needed
