I thought the three lady host were good with Amy Schumer really killing it. I saw exactly one nominated movie this year yet this show turned out to be one of the most fun in a long time

PBS America (PBS in the UK) showed both parts 'back-to-back'. Second part is good - although, personally, I think the section on Franklin in Paris was a bit overdrawn. Great line, though fron 'the Cockpit' - 'he went in a Briton, and came out an American...'

Kind of funny to me that you feel this way. I can see it w/ both of them but I would never have said she's significantly more annoying than Amodio.

Just watched the latest American Experience - 'Flood In The Desert'. Very informative film about the (often overlooked) St Francis Dam Disaster, and the relationship between the development of the West and water resources. Well worth a look.

spent a good chunk of time plowing through the wiki on the event just now. Pretty much a sign of my east coast world view that I had not heard of it. I'm going to the wedding of the daughter of a friend who was a civil engineer out in California before becoming an east coast lawyer. I'll have to bring up the dam collapse when I see him.
