I watched the series on DVD some years ago and loved it.  Watching that show rekindled my current fascination with bourbon. I had never heard of Pappy Van Winkle before and have tried and failed to secure a bottle.  We did go to Zim's restaurant, Salt Line, outside Nats Park and tried a glass for the first time.  $50 for a pour of 15 yo.  :glug:

They have some in my local liquor store in DC. The man quoted me 570 bucks for the 10 year. Told him to kick rocks.

First episode was great.

Agreed. Fourth was great too. “Put the blue wire where the red wire was” :hysterical:

I don't think so.  I believe his contract just ran out and they let him go due to cost cutting.

Didn't even know this existed, much less that it was 2 seasons in.  Not sure if that's a reflection on how out of touch I am or how bad Netflix's marketing is.

Given that it was on their main crawl for quite some time when the season launched.... I'd go with perhaps you are just focused on a particular bit of entertainment and load Netflix when you know specifically what it is you wish to watch.

I've been watching Dark Matter on Netflix.  Was on ScyFy I believe.  Can't say the acting is great but lots of plot twists have kept me watching.

first two seasons were on YouTube Red/Premium, Netflix picked up the rights in June and the new season launches in January.

If your marketing requires that someone already be a user of your product, can you even call it marketing?

Cobra Kai awareness seems to have largely spread by word of mouth about 2-3 months ago.  If you grew up in the 1980's, and were at all a fan of the original Karate Kid movie, check it out.

I was watching Finding My Roots on PUBLIC TV.  Guess which 2 people share DNA?
Larry David and Bernie Sanders!
Similar grouchy  personalities.
David played him on SNL.

It wasn't on Netflix until after the second season. They picked it up from a you tube channel this year.

I am watching a show on ABC Big Sky. It's only 3 shows in, but it's quite good.

Was shocked and disappointed they offed Ryan Phillepe in the first episode but I’m in just to find out how the girls in the underground container escape, because I know they will!
Did anyone else watch Your Honor last night? A lot of  moments but the hit and run scene itself I thought was crazy disturbingly real.

If there are other people watching, you might want to spoiler the whole paragraph.  :hysterical:

And you might want to edit the quote in your post ;)

Decided to give Amazon's Jack Ryan a try the other night.  First episode seems decent.

I tried to watch it but just couldn't get into it.  I can't buy Jim Halpert as Jack Ryan.  Dwight would have been a much better choice.
