I mean you already lined up to see it on opening weekend, right? No need to see again.

Never saw it. But I rarely go to movie theaters anymore and I don’t subscribe to any premium channels.

Actually, it was very interesting.  It talked about how Alex Jones and his broadcasting of "Info Wars" almost caused many deaths at Comet Pizza.  It went on about how fake information is being spread and how it is harming our society.  About how the spread of non-truthful information is making it tough for anybody to know when they are hearing accurate information,  It was tied right in to what is going on now in Portland and Wisconsin.

did they touch on Deep Fakes as well?  Those are incredibly scary.  There's one that I think MIT recently produced showing Nixon saying that the moon landing had failed.

No, I don't remember anything like that.  Much was on things that happened in 2016.

I agree - the idea of Deep Fakes is really awful.

Has anyone seen the PBS mini-series "Hacking Your Mind" ?  It's been very interesting describing how people make decisions.  In NC, it it on Wednesday nights.

Cobra Kai on Netflix is pretty damn good. If you liked the Karate Kid.

Also, can someone explain the allure of Schitt’s Creek to me? I saw two episodes and found it absolutely unwatchable.

The first season wasn't very good, but it gets better over time as the characters and storylines develop. I think the hype for the show far exceeds the show quality, it's nowhere near the level of say The Office, Seinfeld, or Cheers, but it was an enjoyable series with great characters. The final season was very very good.

A lot of the attention it received is also due to the fact that it was the first show that treated gays and bisexuals as ordinary, normal, people. They never resorted to the usual storyline of LBGTQ folks having to deal with discrimination. The gay characters on the show were treated like everyone else.

i thought the same thing but my fiance stuck with it and as time went on i found myself enjoying it. it was pretty solid.

their emmy awards performances were entirely paid for by netflix, it was so transparent. good show, not god-level.

Agree with this. The first season is very meh. The characters develop in later seasons and it gets very funny.

There is a show on PBS tonight called "Hacking Your Mind" that has been really great.  It starts at 10pm here in NC, but looks like one that's on all PBS stations at the same time.

We just finished binging on Longmire (Netflix) which we really liked. Now it's onto Hunters with Al Pacino as a holocaust survivor who leads an eclectic group of nazi hunters (Amazon). Another fascinating story set in the late 70's.

We finished Hunters, terrific surprise ending. Now it's onto The Kaminsky Method on Netflix. Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin star in this and they're pretty funny together.

I don't know if it's must-see TV...I certainly don't plan to watch it...but in the commercials for the show, the "Robin" to Ted Lasso's "Batman" looks all the world like Adam LaRoche...
