Since some of us are going to be home more than usual. I thought I'd pass on my favorite YouTube channels. Would love to hear what you watch.
1. Bad Obsession Motor Sports - where two funny British mechanics meld an old Mini with a 90s Celica AWD. They've been at it for years.
2. Mr Chickadee - Homesteading with only hand tools. No narration or music. Quiet, meditative. And the guy is an Marine bad-ass.
3. Sampson Boat Company - Where Leo rebuilds (think Ship of Theseus) turn-of-the-last-century sailing yacht.
4. Acorn to Arabella - Two farm kids from western Massachusetts build a sailboat - first felling the timber. Disasters should ensue, but don't.
5. Twoofrd - Luthier and guitar repair guy. Canadian. Very talented.
6. AvE - Canadian machinist takes on comedy and crappy tools.
7. Bus Grease Monkey - Saving old iron and Detroit Diesels while travelling the country in his 1947 Silversides Greyhound bus. Low production quality. Fun though.
8. Adrew Camarata - "Okay, that's done. Let's do something else." Property maintenance guy with yellow labs, a drone, and the ability to fix anything. As fixed as it needs to be in Upstate New York.
Would love to hear anyone else's recommendations.
