Still impressive.  I hiked a mile across the bottom of a crater once, it wasn’t scary though.

I went up Diamond Head. It was dark and scary. But the wife and I did it.

Diamond Head was awesome.  The hike I mentioned is the Iki trail on the big island

Up top, yes. But the tunnels were pitch black and we were completely dependent on the tour guide's flashlight. I don't know how we did it!

the best part of hiking Diamond Head wasn't the hike itself, but that we were told to visit this place afterwards:

Since some of us are going to be home more than usual. I thought I'd pass on my favorite YouTube channels. Would love to hear what you watch.

1. Bad Obsession Motor Sports - where two funny British mechanics meld an old Mini with a  90s Celica AWD. They've been at it for years.
2. Mr Chickadee - Homesteading with only hand tools. No narration or music. Quiet, meditative. And the guy is an Marine bad-ass.
3. Sampson Boat Company - Where Leo rebuilds (think Ship of Theseus) turn-of-the-last-century sailing yacht.
4. Acorn to Arabella - Two farm kids from western Massachusetts build a sailboat - first felling the timber. Disasters should ensue, but don't.
5. Twoofrd - Luthier and guitar repair guy. Canadian. Very talented.
6. AvE - Canadian machinist takes on comedy and crappy tools.
7. Bus Grease Monkey - Saving old iron and Detroit Diesels while travelling the country in his 1947 Silversides Greyhound bus. Low production quality. Fun though.
8. Adrew Camarata - "Okay, that's done. Let's do something else."  Property maintenance guy with yellow labs, a drone, and the ability to fix anything.  As fixed as it needs to be in Upstate New York.

Would love to hear anyone else's recommendations.

I’m glad we switched from DirecTV to YouTube TV last weekend. It’s $90 a month cheaper, and with no sports to watch, I’m barely watching TV other than Jeopardy and the news (my wife is watching some stuff, though whether it’s via regular channels or Acorn I have no idea).

We meant to watch the last two episodes of For All Mankind last night, but I was exhausted and fell asleep early. It’s an interesting show, follows how the Space Race evolved after the Soviets made Alexei Leonov the first man on the Moon in June 1969.

There was an odd podcast from the Washington Post about the space race. It was interesting buy quirky.

If you were a pro wrestling fan in the 80s and 90s, and aren't watching AEW on TNT, you are wrong.  Last night's empty arena show may have been the best wrestling show I've seen in the last 20 years.
