I once had a guy working for me. He had just moved into town. The wife and small kids never joined him although that was the original plan. Eventually he told me that they had gotten involved with another woman. He said it was his wife’s idea. Now she was divorcing him and saying it was his idea. He moved back to be near his kids. Never heard how it turned out.

Are all divorces no-fault now? Is she a mastermind?

He's a guy. It's more likely that he's just lying.

Jeopardy outdrew game 1 of the World Series, the NBA Finals and the NHL Finals

Thought it was a fail by Manfred not getting a handshake agreement not to have the NBA season start on the same night as WS Game 1, IIRC

Last night was the 1st of a 5 part series called "What's Eating America".  It was on the impact of immigrants on the nation's food supply and the cultural effect on what Americans eat.  It was a great show, including interviews with famous chef Jose Andres:

The "Washington" (Part I) kept pretty much to history as I remember it in class/books.     I found it a bit "dry".     In the end, I really like all history documentaries.       BTW, I've been to a lot of the places they referenced in W. PA.     However, I was not there during that pre-revolution time frame.    ;)

The food show was interesting.    The McDonalds ended up gettin' used (though rich).      I felt bad for the guy that Hershey hosed.     He did get his payback though.    Talking to my neighbor today and didn't we realize that Birdseye was a real surname.   Colonel Sanders (to me) had the most interesting story.    I kept waiting for the pressure cooker to explode.      My GGGrandfather is buried in the same cemetery as Colonel Sanders (and Ali).

I watched some of it last night. I see they are planning a series on US Grant also. I will probably learn more in that one since I know less about him.

The History Channel with history shows. Amazing.

If you have some spare time and like the Civil War (mostly Western campaigns), you may like to read Grant's and Sherman's memoirs.

As you know, those were two wild characters   ...   in all aspects of their lives.

"Grant stood by me when I was crazy, and I stood by him when he was drunk, and now we stand by each other."     Uncle Billy

Is House Hunters the one where they look at three houses? If it is, it loses a lot when you know they already bought the compromise house before the show will even talk to them.

Anyone watch the premier of Dispatches From Elsewhere? The promos looked interesting but the actual show was weird. I think I’ll pass future episodes.

I got about 15 minutes into it and was like "eh, I'm going to bed".

Redundant anyway, they'd have to purposely follow his fall and dwell on his death for the viewer to see anything.  Those things are like the TV precursors to internet clickbait.

That's for the directors cut pay per view

I keep wondering when the world of "The Running Man" is going to become reality.
