I've been watching it, she's really good.  They will start the legends championship tournament tonight with the top 3 all-time Jeopardy players squaring off, so the Woodbridge woman won't be back until Monday I think.

I watched today and she lost.  I obviously jinxed her.  I believe the legends thing is in prime time.

Champions tourney starts at 8 pm unless the war preempted it.

Heaven forbid--it's not war--just a limited engagement of hostilities.

I’d pitch in if it comes to that but after all I’m a pensioner on Medicare. But I do still have my draft card and my AR ready. ;)

So I’m watching an episode of Route 66 on the Z Classic channel (662 on Fios). This particular episode was filmed in Corpus Christi and aired in Feb 1963. They’re in the town hall and there’s a sign on the wall that says “Pay Your Poll Tax Here”.

it has been interesting watching Ken Jennings employ the Holzhauer strategy of going big on the daily doubles, and winning with it.  He has a shot to wrap it up tonight though I'm still pulling for big game James.

I didn't know James was half-Japanese, it's obvious now but wasn't until they showed the biographical clip of him last night.  The guys all seem to be having a blast playing one another (I guess why wouldn't they?)

The PBS show Frontline is going to have a 2 show this week on the great divide in today's political environment that looks very interesting.

A lot of marvel and justice league movies on tbs TNT USA this weekend. I saw avengers civil war and guardians of the galaxy 2 last night, and am taping Guardians of the Galaxy 1 at 5. Wonder Woman and Suicide Squad, plus superman v batman are on as well.

And before you answer Slate, I'm drawing a distinction between sated and happy.

I once had a guy working for me. He had just moved into town. The wife and small kids never joined him although that was the original plan. Eventually he told me that they had gotten involved with another woman. He said it was his wife’s idea. Now she was divorcing him and saying it was his idea. He moved back to be near his kids. Never heard how it turned out.
