Unique meteor shower will occur around 11pm tonight in the eastern sky.  It's something that comes every 20 years or so.  There is a UTube way to watch it as well:

I'm sure there have been others who went "all in" on every daily double.  The difference is they didn't succeed at it enough and no one remembers them.  In baseball terms, Holzhauer has an amazing eye and only swings at the pitches he knows he can hit (which also happens to be a LOT of them).

Give them another season, I'm sure they'll ruin it.

I watched the first episode--it's OK.  Not sure what the buzz is all about.

the first episode was probably the weakest of the four IMHO.  It gets much better in episode 2 and onward (and I'm not much of a Star Wars fan).

So history channel is actually doing history stuff. Or at least they were last night. Building off the Men Y
Who Built America series, they're doing one on food. Kellogg, Post, Hershey, ect.

I'm going to guess that it's Kellogg that got help from ancient astronauts and Hershey that uses sasquatches in its production facilities. I mean, it -is- the History Channel.

And then the Count made a custom hot rod which was then pawned to Chumlee.

Come now, be serious.  Hershey obviously helped Hitler plan the invasion of the US and was working on top secret chocolate superweapons.  Those Pennsylvania Dutch are not to be trusted.

I assume we're all old enough to remember the History channel when it used to have history-related programming and wasn't just the Hitler channel?

History channel was pretty much the WW2 channel until they created the military channel and then History channel lost all its viewers and started down the awful reality tv route.

Such a shame because  the only show I truly enjoy on there is American pickers but they have gotten too far away from the original premise of the show.
