Judging by what I saw tonight, she's going to have a tough time winning, but she's better than about half of the first night's crop. We'll see what tomorrow holds.

I have no idea how this show works; is there voting involved down the line?

She wasn't on tonight, either. Evidently there are more auditions next week. Goodness.

I checked with my daughter who's a big fan of the show and yes the audience apparently votes to keep two performers from each team and then the celebrity in charge keeps another, or something - anyway if it is like Idol the first few weeks are devoted to auditions and then whittling it down to a small number of finalists so you could be watching for awhile DPM

Well, I'm ok with that if it means my friend is on the show for a while.

The new show on ABC Quantico is pretty good. Stars Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, whom my wife loves.

I think she would have looked good on NCIS, since it's the only series I watch.

Turns out she's auditioning for NEXT season, the one that will start after the first of the year. I can resume normal life again.

A favorite show of JMad

CBS's Person of Interest reruns are now being shown on cable TV's WGN. Pilot episode TONIGHT Fri Oct 16, 2015 at 7 pm, followed by the next three one-hour episodes. Then tomorrow, Saturday 9 pm until 11 pm.

Former CIA agent Reese (Jim Caviezel) -- now presumed dead -- and billionaire software genius Finch (Michael Emerson) join forces as a vigilante crime-fighting team. Using Finch's program, which employs pattern recognition to determine individuals who will soon be involved in violent crimes, they combine Reese's covert-operations training and Finch's money and cyberskills to stop crimes before they happen.

I know it's not exactly a sleeper pick but The Walking Dead aired Season 6 premiere last Sunday and it was awesome.  I've been a fan of the show through thick and thin, but they've really hit their stride since season 4-B, and season 6 looks to be continuing the upward trend.

Check 60 Minutes tonight on the Darrelle Revis story.   They'll show Aliquippa PA.   That's my home area.

She's back. Talked to her at church on Sunday. She made it through the auditions, so come February, I'm going to religiously watch a show I never thought I'd have any interest in...
