I tried to find a reason to like the current Jeopardy champ. I can’t. The story is just too good and he’s so humble.

Dude only owned two dresses shirts.

started watching The Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix. It took a bit of getting used to to not see Matthew McConaughey in the role of Mickey Haller (the new actor is Mexican and has a slight accent) but the show is very good. We've gotten through three episodes so far.

My sister is in town and we've been watching too, none of us ever saw the movie so we're really enjoying it. Going to finish the last two tonight :)

Yeah, enjoying The Lincoln Lawyer. Never saw the movie. Garcia-Ruflo is good in it, although a little too likeable for a lawyer

Have seen 9 episodes of The Lincoln Lawyer. Enjoyable. Waiting for the right time to see the final episode.

Finished last night.  Lots of plot twists and some open storylines so clearly a second season planned.

Ted Lasso producers say the show will end after Season 3. :(

From what I've read on the economics of streaming TV, most shows are bought for 3 seasons and it rarely makes financial sense to pay for additional seasons. I assume shows like Lasso, Cobra Kai and Stranger Things would be exceptions to that rule. Maybe they'll make the Lasso crew an offer they can't refuse.

Finally able to catch-up the latest American Experience film - 'Plague At The Golden Gate'. I must admit to not knowing much about this, but it is fascinating to see how all of the issues and forces we have recently experienced, during COVID, were all there at the beginning of the 20th Century. Definitely worth watching.

Not like we really needed Roman vs. Brock for the fiftieth time anyway. :D

Is it November 13th yet?....................................... ...........YELLOWSTONE starts for season 5.  I can't believe that for all the talk on this thread that no one is watching Yellowstone. Clearly the best TV since "Lonesome Dove".

Agreed. I still love it but for me it's been nonsense since season 2 ended.

Yeah, season 4 was so bad.  Everyone being ok after the season 3 finale except for some scars on the back was a ridiculous start.   And then it turned into a commercial for fancy horses that I guess are a big part of the Jimmy spin off?   1883 was far better than the last couple seasons.

are you following the current backstage storyline in AEW with talent having fights in the locker room? Much more interesting than their on-screen product right now.
