Chuck Mangione was a recurring character on King of the Hill
turns out, it was somebody playing the juke box. For a second, I thought there was a Sirius station "Bad 70s Easy Listening"

I think Rodgers has improved a lot over the past couple of days. And apparently he actually wants the job.

'Sconsin, ya know...

I heard a native refer to it as "Wisco."  Didn't seem quite right...

Funny, I was thinking he doesn't seem to be improving much.  His delivery is just so low energy.

Maybe I just like the turd Ferguson and Willie Nelson jokes. I like deadpan

I’m pretty low energy too. Katie Couric was high energy and I hated her.

Couric was robotic.  Just TOO neutral/sterile.  I get why that makes sense for her regular job, but it didn't fit on Jeopardy.  I'd take Rodgers over her no question.  It's not his personality per se, he's just...  I dunno... hushed?  Mumbling?  I'm not sure what the right description is, but he just doesn't have that extra edge or zest or zip or whatever.  I'll keep watching, maybe his style will grow on me.  I still think the job is Jennings' to lose so far.  Still waiting to hear that they're giving LeVar Burton a shot (no idea if he's actually in the queue or not).

The best so far has been the executive producer in my opinion. Even better than Jennings. Although I think Jennings should get the job.

I agree with this though I didn’t watch Dr Oz

I've heard a couple of people say that.  Guess it's possible, who knows.  Not like they're contractually obligated to choose anyone in particular.

Really good article on the ins and outs of Jeopardy during the host rotation.

your link didn't work for me but if you take out the 'platform' part it works.
