If Jerry takes Hardy, Jerry will take anyone who will help him win.    There's the rub.    Johnny will not win anything for Jerry.

it's times like this I really really miss the XFL

Bought tickets to the Bears game in Green Bay on October 20th today.  It's a Thusday night game.  Look for me on TV...I should stand out in my blue & orange in a sea of green & gold.

Tom Brady lost in Appeals Court today.  The court overturned a lower court decision.  Does anyone think the case will continue to go forward ?

No. Waste of $$$ anyways. NFLPA agreed to arbitration. Should've never been heard in court.

Disagree - spitballs, steroids are only 2 of the acts that will get a suspension in MLB

Yep, and both of those are tied directly to a player. The wells report was a joke, but the nflpa agreed to let roger be judge and jury so he was- baseball has actual independent arbitrators

When the local PD crapped the bed by not arresting Johnny Football? It is odd, but it takes any heat off Dallas PD

haven't read the opinion, but I heard it drew a dissent.  Since it wasn't a concurrence on different grounds, I'm assuming that judge would have affirmed the decision below.  That increases the odds of en banc review or cert.

Yes. The current ruling sets a rather dangerous precedent for the NFLPA, in that the commissioner is granted rather significant leeway in determining punishments. They will want to fix that come the next CBA, and if the current ruling stands, it will cost the NFLPA a significant amount to get the current arrangement altered. So, I would expect the NFLPA to petition to have the case heard by the full panel.

It all depends on the players willingness to go without game checks, if they are, the nflpa doesn't have to offer anything in return next time around, if they aren't the next cba will be just as bad for players

Dolphins are claiming at the press conference to introduce their 1sr round pick Laremy Tunsil that "... unfortunately, he had an allergic reaction today and couldn't be present at the press conference."  :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Do they really expect people to believe that or do they just think that people are stupid?
