Cold, really damn cold. we do degrees c elcius here, hovering around the 12-17 mark, but in Melbourne it is ever so cold. that said nothing will stop me getting out at 7am for 18 holes on my day off work
53-62 ain't bad for winter.

Played 18 this morning at devilbend on the mornington peninsula in Victoria, Aus. Tough tight course and it's  qet today.

Front 9 was great, went out in 41made par on the first 4 holes.

Back 9 not so good, had a 46 and botched a tonne of approach shots.

Took some photos to put on here, but i have no idea how to upload on to the site haha

Ain't it great?    I played 27 yesterday in E. Ohio  .... was up 23 hours with a 10 hour turnaround trip.     Got back at 3 AM and watched the Open at 4 AM.    Did 18 walking today.    Life is good.    Send pictures aussienatsfan.

damn...that's lots of golf...I still haven't played 18 this year.  However, I did pick more blackberries and also went to the Zoo.  Not golf but will have to do.  Didn't see any of the open today; hope to catch some in the AM tomorrow

Being unemployed, laid off and/or retired leaves a lot of free time.     We never have a day off.   :)

I may have missed a previous occurrence but I've never heard of golf being delayed because of wind.    Lightning is about the only thing I've ever seen clear a course.

Oh brother, that would be ugly.     He'd look like a sailboat with his comb over.

I'm already confused 'cause I'm old but the Open coverage is messin' with me.    When I turn it on, I don't if it's live or a repeat caused by weather delays.

I have a noon tee time today.    Heat advisory  .....  temperatures in the 90s with indexes up to 110.    We walk.    This ought to be fun.   :)

Beer's not good in the heat with activity.    After though at the clubhouse   ....   ahhhhhhh

EDIT:   Ya know, there was a time when proper hydration and exercise didn't matter.      :old:

So, question for mitlen...is the game ready for Tiger to be gone?  He's on, what, year 8 of his farewell tour?
