So if they are lowballing him/offering deferred money, he should sign anyway? Why is it always the player's fault if they don't want to sign?
It's a negotiation. Just because he turned down this offer doesn't mean the talks are over. The team has to meet the market. I think we will. I'm not suggesting Rendon should accept a bad deal.
