Let's hope for additional October baseball this year.  The football team gives no one hope.

Would you please, for once, be a good Nats fan and say that about the Giants or Cardinals?

With the way Golden State shoots three pointers and the way the Wizards defend three pointers, records might be broken tonight.

Looking on the bright side, he won't be sore when he walks into meetings and stuff.
Unfortunate but he will never be the same player again. Reminds one of Gilbert Arenas or Penny Hardaway.

Grant Hill...
Yes.  He hung around much longer than the others but was never the same. Also don't think his was a knee.

Hill adapted to being a good role player/off the bench option. He basically lost all the ego associated with being a super star- I wonder how hard that is for a player

Watch it really amp up if they lose to the miserable Sixers tomorrow night. Even more than the Pistons match on Sunday, this was eminently winnable (and I don't want to hear anyone blaming Garnett's return for the loss - he only had 5 points and 8 boards). And now after Philly the Pistons are coming into our house on Saturday - Detroit, after a slow start, is a borderline playoff team now (just a whisker outside the qualifying field in fact) so they'll bring their 'A' game.

Couldn't believe last night's result when I saw it online this morning - I did turn the match broadcast on on my bedside radio last night, but mercifully my meds kicked in so I went to sleep and missed it.

Yes, read that.  Some of that is the personnel also.  We have no one other than Wall (and occasionally Beal) who can take someone on the dribble and lack three point shooters.

I give him credit for making them a good defensive team but looks like time to move on.

Yes, be careful listening to or watching them. Meds recommended

Gut check tonight.    This should not be a contest.
