Philly should have kept a few veteran guys around as mentors to keep the young guys from developing bad habits from all the losing. OKC did that in their first year. They had guys like Desmond Mason, Malik Rose, and Chucky Atkins on the roster for that very reason.

Lakers were shooting out of their mind and Wizards shots stopped falling halfway through. If those two reverse courses I like our chances a lot.

I can't believe LA thought that Nick Young was worth a long-term, big money extension.

Their roster is full of d-league level players except for a few players with some upside like Michael Carter-Williams or Nerlens Noel, and their last first-round pick, Joel Embiid, is currently injured and projected to miss the entire season. Basically it is another tanking season for the 76ers.

This explains why they're bad, but not why they're 0-17.

The NBA is a little like MLB in that, okay, you might be really, really bad, but you can luck into a win every 15 games even if you're completely putrid.

We saw vintage Nick Young tonight. He'll jack up bad shots and kill momentum, or he'll jack up bad shots and shoot you back into the game. Tonight he brought both.

Nick Young never met a shot he didn't like.

While the Wizards were destroying the Lakers, the Sixers got their first win of the season against the Timberwolves, 85-77.

That dunk fest at the end was fun. Got scared when the Lakers cut the lead to four, but the wiz came up big when they needed it. Butler is doing a great ariza impression. Is it possible Ernie knows what he is doing now?   Or maybe Wall just makes whoever plays that position look good

It's Friday night.    Wiz play in Boston on Sunday.    When does the plane head out?

In Cincy for a few weeks.  Thank goodness I can watch the Wizards on my lap top or I would be stuck watching the Cavs all the time.  They looked good last night.  I see Javale McGee missed two free throws so the fans go a free chicken sandwich.  Best thing he ever did for the Wiz.

This was an exceptionally bad loss.  You can't loss to the Boston level teams, period.  You just can't.

Forgot all about the wizards today.  Apparently they forgot themselves?
They will get the W back against Boston tomorrow.

I've never seen worse rebounding in my life. What a joke. They couldn't secure a rebound multiple times on missed shots. So Wizards.
