Zim should have taken over for La Rouche. He is the leader and clutch player

Agree.  LaRoche earned the first 2 starts.  Not the next 2.

I feel like this is worse overall because this team was better and should have taken it to a weaker giants team. 2012 was a disappointment in game 5 but they were lucky to be there and likely weren't going to progress with the likes of espinosa in the lineup. This sucks because they simply gave it away..

Final words: You know who I blame? The goddamned f***ing Pirates.

No, seriously. You all realize that if the goddamned Giants had had to make a cross-country trip - back and back and back again! They don't take the first two goddamned games at home from us like that.

But no! Instead they get three days to acclimate, knock the Pirates, then another two days shooting the breeze. A long plane ride Thursday morning = difference maker. In an 18 inning game? Are you kidding me? Shoulda beens, coulda when - this team lost all on their own, granted, but thoughts like the above make it even worse.

How isn't a one-armed baseball player not done? Trade him to the AL and get some prospects.

Gio gave us a chance to win, 0 earned runs tonight.  Really can't fault him.  When we're scoring 1-2 runs a game we aren't going to win very many.

They're only unearned because of his crappy error. And he walked a run in. The one thing he can't do that he's struggled with all time. In only 5 innings.

He was crap. You can't count on him in postseason games, we know that much, we couldn't hardly count on him in the regular season this either. He got carried to the playoffs by the rest of the staff.

So he needs to chop off half his arm? Is that what you are intimating?

He had two arms.  He just didn't have two hands.

Barrett is the last guy you put in a high leverage situation. That's Williams being stupid.

Any bets on whether McCatty is back next year?

He may want to move on...

Until Williams goes, it will be more of the same. Need a REAL manager NOW while we can still win divisions. A guy learning on the job just doesn't cut it. Ridiculous we have to put up with these bone-headed decisions. Like naming a first-year manager to lead your winning baseball team. A JOKE.

The two today were unearned. The stat I posted was just broadcast on MLB Network.
