This whole team is full of bums who can't hit. Zimmermann is a fking trooper. Keep him at all costs.

Unfortunately, I think we found out:

The Giants may be a better team, and they may be a tougher team, but a team "without balls" doesn't make this the longest postseason game in MLB history.

This game is 100% on Matt Williams. How the fk do you take out Zimmermann there?

Easy decision tk make after seeing three balls drilled and giving up a walk. Better question is why Storen didnt start the 9th to begin with.

They have scored three runs in 27 innings.
It's all on the offense for me.

Read my other posts, not against blaming the offense, lol.

Doesn't excuse Williams' call there.

Look at it this way. If we come back from this, we're definitely winning it all.

Right now, I'd settle for a game where we get more than two runs. Fister is going to get shelled.

And we haven't even faced their best starter yet.

It's not like SF was hitting well either. Probably another very low scoring game coming up.

I am so disgusted with this team - its almost like the post season started and the offense  decided they didn't want to be in the post season.

If this team doesn't learn how to play small ball they will never win in the post season, and the life span of this teams pitching staff is up in 1-2 seasons.

If this team ever makes the playoffs again, please go in as a number 3 seed.  These guys can't handle the hype that's been whipped up around them the past 3 seasons.

Too many swing and miss guys on this team.  The primary culprit being Desmond even though he seemed ok tonight.  Still, when i think of a good shortstop I want rock solid defense and a guy who gets on base and/or move runners over consistenly.  The longballs can come from the corner infielders and outfielders.

At least three XBHs. Hitting better than the Nats

Be prepared for a lot of posts between now, and well, next season, that won't really make much sense.

Well I can't see us getting swept.  And that brings us to Vogelson, so maybe we have a chance

You can't see how a team that just scored 0.5 runs per nine innings could get swept? I have hope, but dayum

Find a way, any way to get to game 5.

But, this really was an epic game. Sucks because we lost it, but it was everything post season baseball should be.

Just got home from the game. I arrived at the gate at 2:25pm full of hope and enthusiasm, I walked out that same gate at 12:10am completely crushed.

The highlight of the game came when the foul ball bounced off of the foul screen and hit home plate up in the head. The entire crowd burst into a loud cheer. That as the highlight tells a lot.
