So petit gets another?  They must hate lincecum.

He's their Soriano I guess, doing anything to avoid using him but made the team based purely on contract status

They were fine till they stupidly dealt Cespedes. Even then, they had more runs in one playoff game then well likely have this whole series.

They don't make the playoffs without Lester.

Anyone has been following them since 09 knows that Stammen is a great hitter.

By the way, Span has been too jumpy all night. Swinging at balls that are so low, they look like cricket pitches.

I won't even blame Soriano if he's on the mound when we fall behind.  I don't know how many more innings this game would have to be for the Nationals to score another run.

Holiday ended around 8.  Wasn't going to log on except I figured it might help the offense.  Hopefully the Nats.

nothing is helping
not the end of Yom Kippur
nor even haiku

I hope someone throws a watermelon on the field and it hits the home plate umpire in the head.

Me too but I'd rather see Tanner.

I agree. Just throw Strasburg on short rest if you don't want Gio

Williams should have done this to the umpire in the 10th.
