Idc idc idc what anyone tells me, I knew for like 5 years that Zimmermann would be the first pitcher to throw a no-hitter. Now where is my freaking cookie.

Really happy for Jordan no one deserved it more. On the down side he's going to GET TAT PAIIIIDDD. And I don't know if it will be us : (

Gee he had to go a long way.  I was not sure if it was a slow read or late start (can't tell from the video) but he was not initially positioned for that.  From that angle, it looks like the CF could have gotten there but was passive. Taylor?

Highlight might have been Mathguy throwing $20's at the Red Porch taps, but the rest wasn't too bad either.

Quick questions for Expos fans. My 2013 Nats media guide lists the two times in Washington Senators history that the original Nats threw no-hitters. There were only two---one in 1920 (by Walter Johnson I believe) and the other in 1931 by somebody else. When I read to see how many Expos no-hitters have been thrown, I expect to only see the perfect game thrown by Dennis Martinez in 1991. Instead, it said "[MANY TIMES, last; July 28, 1991].


I'll look this up on Google, but do any Expos fans know how many no-hitters is so many that your media guide doesn't bother to list them?

Unbelievable. A magical end to a magical regular season.

One of the most interesting games I've ever been to. The crowd didn't start to buzz until the seventh inning. And then it went nuts for the last six outs, just hanging on every pitch.

Needless to say, the place erupted when The Catch was made. For me, The Catch is what totally amped the adrenaline. I jumped up and down like a child on Christmas morning. I high fived everyone within reach. Most people around me seemed stunned and didn't know how to react.

I high fived like 10 people on the way out, including the ushers who are just as excited as anyone.

Yep, this one was for the memory banks. It will rank up there with all the great games at Nationals Park.

I forgot who it was but I believe we had a "nats fan" here say he/she was an opponent team's fan at Nationals Park for a series or two (or maybe it was someone I know not from this forum who said it).

My second no hitter...the first was Joel Horlen for the White Sox in 1968.

This was so special...that catch by Sousa is easily the most memorable defensive play of this season (sorry, Franny...changing my pick).
