Zimmerman should not be playing an infield position.

Drew making it more interesting than need be...
lots of groundballs.  not like he's getting roped.  Would like a K but the pop up will do.

Another ground ball to the right side. Playoff teams will turn those in to ground outs

Yes, because playoff teams never give up ground ball hits.

So that's best record in the NL, right?  No "tie breaker" stuff, just straight up better record than anyone else.

When all you do is hit between first and second, teams adjust. Until he starts driving it to the right center gap, his timing isn't back.

It sucks that having the best record in your league is no longer "winning the pennant". It's a great accomplishment that should have a name.

We have one final chance to get ahead of 2012.  If we win tomorrow, 2014 96th win will be on the 28th.  2012 96th win was on the 29th.

Technically, we'd be ahead of 2012 until October 2nd because the 2012 team lost the next two games after the 96th win and didn't get 97 and 98 until the final two games of the season.

N2P, my sources are leading me to indicate that the Nationals and Dodgers could have still finished at identical records of 94-68 prior to today's action.  :|
