The only alternative is to go with Zimmerman at 3B and I don't know if anyone wants that aside from a few fanbois.

Someone will be hurt. Cannot assume that a team will go through a season with seven regular field players plus two catchers. Need someone better than Frandsen, Shierholtz, McLouth, or Chad Tracy Equivalent.

Doesn't Detwiler only have 1 pitch?  How does he stay in this league?

He's thrown a couple nasty curve balls this year

I would. I want them to keep winning.

I'd take one world series win and 5 years of continual suckage over 5 winning seasons ending in playoff defeats - maybe it's because i follow loser teams in all sports an dnever see them win the ultimate prize

Why settle when the real deal is out there, ready to un-retire?

What's the point of taking out Detwiler if the next guy walks the bases loaded?

Nope. One of them locked up Freddie Freeman good en route to a strikeout. Struck out the side (may have been another inning)

Doesn't Detwiler only have 1 pitch?  How does he stay in this league?

He throws a bit of a mix of 2 seam and 4 seam, in different ways.  He spoke out in response to that article that showed him throwing 17 fastballs or whatever it was that one game.
