No way they're scoring three runs with the at-bats they've had tonight.

I don't think they can use previous at-bat for scoring runs in future innings so you're probably right.

Zimm would have had that...

Jordanz Meatballz: "Espinosa would've made it an easy play"  :stir:

I don't understand why Span gets charged with the error. Laroche was dogging it and was the cause.

Soriano's four year old son could have made that play.

What's more important getting homefield advantage or Zimmerman at bats because I suspect they can't accomplish both at the same time?

The Dodgers have a crucial series with the Giants coming up.  We have Miami and NY the rest of the way, and after tomorrow, at home.

Your suspicions are not well founded.

The way this lineup is composed, with Ramos, LaRoche and now Zimmerman, three of the slowest players in baseball, they are going to be hardpressed to beat anybody.

Indeed. This is the first night I've been able to watch in a while. My last three nights have been spent in a meeting (one night) and the theatre (two nights). The night spent in the meeting was the least painful of the three.

Zim at bats. By a mile.

Pretty sure we can do both
