My stomach's in knots because it's only 3-2 and we're only fighting for home field advantage.

Imagine how I'm going to fee in a few weeks when the playoffs start!

dude, I fully plan on my heart legit stopping at least three times before november

No effort from Cabrera out there :smh:

He can tell he's about to be replaced by Rendon at 2nd.

I don't know how anyone can have watched all the games and love Asdrubal's defense. He converts what he gets to, but doesn't get to all that much.

Aren't you an Espinosa slurper?

So you're biased. I think Cabrera's defense has been fine.

Compare that defense to tensing up every time Zim grips the ball, Zim ain't playing third in the playoff more than a game or two depending on matchups

Zimm to 3rd, Rendon to 2nd, Cabrera to bench.

Just can't trust him there. Cabrera is falling apart but we need to see Zim make the throws at 3B in the next week before playoffs.

If the score stays this close for another inning or so, Matt Williams had better not even THINK of bringing in Rafael Soriano!

What level of tolerance will we exercise on bad throws from 3B?

Yep.    See what he can do before the playoffs.   If he can't throw from third, put him in left, at first or on the bench.    Ain't got time to test that arm in the playoffs.   This team is playing .600 ball without him.   I'm not as concerned about Cabrera in the field as Zimmerman.

I'm not calling for Espinosa, because of his bat. I'm looking forward to Zimmerman's return.

The defensive stats don't like Asdrubal. I can think of several balls Espinosa would have gotten to, because of the algorithms my head runs automatically.

I didn't say it was tomorrow, or the next day.  Cabrera's a rental, he's performed solidly and really shored up a weak spot for us, but if Ryan can swing the bat and perform modestly well at 3rd, he's the man.

None when the alternative (rendon at third, drubs at second) is pretty damn good, don't get me wrong, I want his bat in the lineup, but we're doing just fine without him

I'd love to see Ryan Zimmerman at 100% so that he'll be the starting third baseman. However, it's been so long that it's possible that he may be confined to pinch hit or designated hitter duty in the playoffs.

And DH in the WS.
